Hispanic Veterans Honored At Benefit Concert

The concert name couldn't be more appropriate: Stars, Stripes, & Salsa!

The event will be hosted by Stars, Stripes, & Hearts, a national non-profit dedicated to making positive differences in the lives of Latino/Hispanic military service members and their families.

The concert will pay tribute to Hispanic men and women who served and are still serving in the U.S. Armed Forces for their strength, honor and commitment. Rodolfo Hernandez, an 81-year-old veteran of the Korean War and recipient of the Medal of Honor, will be recognized during the event for a lifetime of inspirational service to his country, the press release said.

But that’s not all! Mega salsa music artists Gilberto Santa Rosa and Tito Puente Jr. will perform during the event.

All proceeds from the concert will be donated to charitable organizations that provide services to Latino/Hispanic Americans military families impacted by war.
