Don't Tread On D.C.?

Don't Tread On D.C.?

You've all seen these signs littered all over the District.

The signs are simple: White background, red image of the city, and four lines that read in black "Congress: Don't Tread on DC!"---a phrase that the campaign's creators over at DCVote undoubtedly hope is a strong message.

We want to know what you think of the slogan.  Do you like it?  And if you don't, what would your slogan be?

White House Announces 2011 Easter Egg Roll Program and Talent Line-up

Here is the official press release from the White House regarding the 2011 Easter Egg Roll:

The White House announces the program, activities, and talent line-up for the 2011 White House Easter Egg Roll, a tradition in its 133rd year.

This year’s theme is “Get Up and Go!” The theme focuses on promoting health and wellness and encouraging children to lead healthy and active lives.  This is a central part of the First Lady’s Let’s Move! initiative, which is a national effort to combat childhood obesity.

The Easter Egg Roll is the largest annual public event at the White House.
