Police: 5 taken to hospital after car hits Metrobus

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Five people were taken to the hospital after an accident involving a Metrobus in DC today.

Police said a driver of a Chevrolet Tahoe apparently rear-ended a Metrobus around 4:30 p.m. at Forestville Road and Stewart Road. At that time, there were about 12 or more passengers on the bus. No one sustained any serious injuries. Five adult females were taken to the hospital for a check up, officials said. 

This incident is currently under investigation.
