On the heels of judging the global 61st Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in France as one of two US judges in the Design category, Pum Lefebure, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of Design Army, just released her first swimwear collection, Swim At Your Own Risk, in collaboration with Karla Colletto. A capsule collection for Colletto’s Cruise 2015 line and Lefebure’s first venture into fashion design, the five-piece graphic swimsuits and beachwear debuted at the Miami Swim Show on July 19th.

Showroom Managers Julia Walter and Brian Fell along with Boffi's Lilian Leong and Maxalto's Thor Ochs welcome guests for an evening soiree Boffi-Maxalto held a Summer Soiree on June 26 at the Boffi-Maxalto Showroom, 3320 M Street NW in Cady's Alley/Georgetown. Boffi-Maxalto kicked off summer with specially-created hors d'oeuvres by renown Chef Roberto Donna, Esquire's 2012 Chef of the Year, as well as a Prosecco tasting with Altaneve. The chef was interacting with guests while preparing risotto in one of the Boffi kitchens.

Spectacular holiday trees and décor are now on display in the lobby of the Four Seasons Hotel in anticipation of the 8th Annual Georgetown Jingle held this Sunday, December 15th. The event benefits pediatric programs at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital’s Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Italo Ceramica, a ceramic tile retailer with 36 stores in Europe, celebrated the opening of its first US showroom located at 725 Rockville Pike in Rockville, Maryland this month. The Italo Ceramica team welcomed more than 120 design industry professionals, media and customers for a grand opening celebration with special guests Andrea Bacchini, North America Market Director for Imola Ceramica, Italo Ceramica’s partner, and artist Alexander Stefan, who exhibited his photography. Stefan also raffled off one of his works during the evening event.
